Martin Franssen has dedicated more than 40 years to serving others.
A nationally recognized leader in protecting seniors from fraud, abuse, and financial exploitation, Martin spent 27 years with Durham Regional Police Service, served as an engineering officer in the regular component of the Canadian Army, represented Canada on NATO missions abroad, and has educated thousands of residents while training police, financial institutions, and community organizations across Ontario.
Now, Martin is ready to bring that same proven leadership home to Ward 1.
He believes residents deserve a councillor who listens first, makes informed decisions, spends tax dollars responsibly, and delivers results with integrity and accountability.
After a lifetime of protecting communities, solving complex problems, and serving the public, Martin is ready to put that experience to work for our ward, all of Oshawa, and our Region.
A few hours of your time and talent between now and Election Day will make all the difference to Martin's grassroots campaign. Join Martin and help make an in your neighbourhood.
Our ward is bounded to the north by Oshawa's northern limit (Coates Road), on the east by our city's border with the Municipality of Clarington, to the south by Taunton Road/Highway 407, and on the west by Ritson Road and Oshawa's border with the Town of Whitby.
Oshawa's northernmost ward has grown and changed dramatically over the past two decades. But after almost 30 years with the same Regional and City Councillor, our representation at the Region and Oshawa City Hall hasn't kept pace with the times.
Chip in now to support Martin's true grassroots campaign.
Your donation of $10, $25, $35, $50, or any amount (up to the individual limit of $1,200) will ensure that his team has the tools required to send a stronger and more energetic councillor to represent you at the Region and City Hall.
